First week of training complete
By noon yesterday Dave and I had completed our first week of the training program we're following. I was pleased with how well Dave did for his first week. I was especially impressed that he showed up for our long run on Sunday after going out and drinking hard on Saturday night. I'm not sure he'll be doing that again. I pushed him though and he made it through without puking so cudos to him.
This week is pretty much a repeat of last week with the exception of the long run on the weekend. We add a measly 1 mile onto our run. But in fact, since I made us run a bit extra on Sunday - we are actually only increasing our distance by 1.2 kms or about 0.8 miles.

Running again...
Well after quite a long time off from running (I haven't really done any serious running since the half marathon in May) I've started up again.
I know that I want to do the full marathon at the National Capital Marathon next May so I figured I'd start earlier this time and hopefully do a little better.
Anyways - Dave and I started this morning. An easy 5 km to get the program started. We'll be following the same program that I used last time.
Dave's got a write up here.

Blogging from Flock
I wanted to try adding a post to my blog from Flock to see how it goes. For some reason everything I type right now is showing up as underlined text. Not sure why that is. Now lets try adding in a photo from Flickr.
Hmmm...underlining is gone. That picture was taken yesterday when I was down at Trev and Julie's place. Trev was finishing up taking down the last of the lathe and plaster so we could get the room ready for drywall.

Home Media Centre
I think I may have a new plan for my home media centre. I saw that the 'new' iMac G5 comes standard with an iSight built in, as well as airport extreme wireless and bluetooth too. If you combine it with a wireless keyboard and mouse, plus the remote that also comes with it, and my USB TV tuner, this thing would definitely work hanging on my wall. The only problem is that the largest screen you can get is 20".
I'm pretty excited about it right now, but by the time I'm ready to purchase a new computer - which will probably be early next year - something else may come out that catches my eye.

Photosets on Flickr
I was going to type up a quick email and send it to Boris since I know he knows a lot about Flickr and I figured he might be able to anwer my question without me having to actually ask the Flickr staff; but then I thought I'd just write up a quick post with my question and see if I get any responses.
Here is what I want to know: Is it possible to create a 'live' photoset on Flickr? What I mean by 'live' is that it is updated dynamically without my intervention. For instance, I want a photoset of all my photos that are tagged with a certain tag. If I add a new photo and tag it with that tag, then it automatically gets added to the end of the photoset - or 'tagged on' if you will. :)

A (not so) Old Fashioned Cabin Raising
This past Thanksgiving weekend I headed out to Jim and Ali's land out by Calabogie for what Jim called a "Good Old Fashioned Cabin Raising". Well it didn't take too long before I decided that there wasn't too much about this cabin raising that was old fashioned. I mean we were using air tools and power tools...the only old fashion part was the hammering we had to do. :)
